NorCal Pizza Run 11/26/2005
OK folks,
It's that time of year again. I was able to get in touch with Danno, it seems he's busy and won't be making this run this year, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun!
WHAT: It's another post-Thanksgiving NorCal Pizza Run !!!
WHEN: 9:00 AM, Sat. 26-Nov.
WHERE: Union-76 gas-station on the corner of Big Basin Way, Saratoga, Saratoga-LosGatos, and Saratoga-Sunnyvale
WHO: anyone and everyone!
ROUTE: North to Half Moon Bay
Here are some of the threads from last year:
Interest Check 1
Interest Check 2
Discussion on grub (we'll vote Saturday)
Post-meet pics & discussion
My pic page from the event
All in favor, say aye!
Hopefully it will be drier, less rocky, and more fun! This is not a race, it's a nice drive with good company. I've attached the map that was used last year, though we took 84 rather than Tunitas Creek. Unless I(or someone else) has a chance to pre-run Tunitas Creek to check for hazards, maybe we should just do 84 again, since Danno has cleared away all the rocks!
Also, since I am the defacto organizer this time around, I'm going to risk being a bit of a dick, and anyone running bald tires will be asked to go home, especially if it's looking like a wet day. Of course I can't enforce that -- free roads, free country -- but it will make me feel better having tried.

That's much better Dave. I'm still not sure, I'm trying to reschedule a large appliance delivery coming Saturday. My wife would kill me if her new stove and dishwasher were out sitting on on the lawn as I did 'nother 'car thing'. I'm trying to be there.

I may come out to play, if I can make enough billable hours first. I gots me a negative cash flow situation, and dats da truth. Maybe I'll run for congress and end all of this madness, then live off of the fat of the land and make additional money on the side blowing up hot air balloons in Washington.
Well, if I don't see anyone this weekend, have a nice day and don't make any repeats of last year's unfortunate accident.
