Awesome!!! I was looking at the tracking history of recent west coast RoRos (Glovis Companion, Glovis Cosmos, King Quest) and it looks like it takes 8 - 9 days for the ship to get to San Diego from the Panama Canal and then ~2 days from SD to Benicia. I don't want to jinx us but based on this, Jiuyang should arrive in SD by 04/20 - 04/21 and Benicia by 04/23. Assuming there's capacity at the ports for it to dock of course.
Getting real!!

Really surprised to receive an update today.
TYD indicated that my car will leave Emden on 4/22 but somehow it made onto the ship yesterday. Really exciting!

Is the TYD update pretty immediate if your car was loaded onto a ship (the Poseidon Leader, in this case)? I haven’t received an email update even though TYD had shown that the next step (leaving the German port) was scheduled for 4/12.
In any event, I’m probably one of the very few people who would prefer my car be on a later ship because I’d prefer to take delivery in June rather than May!

Summary: It is NOT real time, usually 1 to 3 days delayed.

One to three later I found that either the web site or mobile app get updated, but not at the same time. It's like they both consume different internal systems for dates which is completely weird, but it is how it is.
