I also recommend SF Porsche. The got Günther from Fremont as the head of the service department, and he's excellent. Runs a tight ship and I've been happy with the quality of both service and communications.
My car is there right now and I’m having a lot of difficulty getting a simple wheel balancing done.
Any recs on a wheel shop that is familiar with the center lock wheels and you would trust to not damage the wheels or PCCBs?
I just wanted to share my experience taking my 2001 911 turbo to Burlingame for service.
TLR -- I would not suggest taking your car for service because they will return your car unfinished and ignore your phone calls.
I took my 911, which had an electrical fire, to Burlingame because everyone told me they have great service and skilled technicians. My experience there begs to differ. The communication, service, quality of work, and overall interactions with the dealership were poor.
My service advisor Carlos was incredibly unprofessional in his interactions as he would not answer calls from my body shop or myself. I was not able to get ahold of Carlos over the phone, so I had to drive to the dealership and confront him in person to finally get an update regarding my car. For context, I needed three quotes from him, and he only sent one. Because he thought he had sent all three, Carlos stopped answering the phone since he thought we were calling repeatedly for the same quote. When I arrived in person and spoke to him, he realized he did not send the quotes and had to apologize for my car sitting idle for two weeks with no work being performed because he failed to provide the quotes for my insurance to approve.
The cherry on top is they told me my car was ready and that EVERYTHING WAS FIXED. The car still had an airbag light on, the driver's seat did not adjust, and the side mirrors did not function.
Due to the awful experience I had here, I chose to take my car to a different shop, and below is just one of the photos they sent me. I don't understand how a reputable dealer can say this is acceptable to return to a customer.
This should have been checked and could have caused further issues with my vehicle, so be wary of the dealership's negligence and poor service.
Beeline Motorclub in Santa Cruz should be added, good folks down there. I appreciated the thorough ppi they did on a potential air cooled 911 a couple weeks ago.

Thanks. I've added them to the top post in this section...
Anyone here have personal experience with either Griffin Motorwerke in Berkeley or SP Motorsports in Hayward? SP hosted a cars & coffee recently, so it’s neat that they seem active in the community.

While you wait for people to come back with additional comments, you can see prior Rennlist comments about both of them by using the "sRL" link at the end of each of their entries in the top post.

No first hand experience with either, but have had friends take their cars to SP. SP were part of a GT WhatsApp group I used to be part of when I had my GT4.
I'm also looking at taking my 992 GTS to them next month to get alignment done.
