Thanks.

Ah... well, I contacted them about installing KW Springs and they said they could... but I'm not sure about other services beyond something like that.

I gave them a call this morning (spoke to "Vic"). They've an inhouse technician who can do parts installation. And they could do something like an oil-change at the same time, if they were asked.

But clearly general Porsche servicing isn't their main business, so I don't plan to add them to the top post...

Karl.

Thanks for the heads up.

Found this press release with a few more details…

https://www.indigoautogroup.com/pors...francisco-2023

Seems it’s going to be located on 8th St. at Bryant (where Mercedes-Benz of San Francisco used to be located).

Karl.

PS: I see it’s your first post, welcome to Rennlist!

I’m from Tracy so Dublin is a close option for me. Given that my/our (not sure you have one?) PDK(s) are a pricey unit would you trust these guys to do a flush on it? Thanks

Does anyone have feedback with their experience with this shop? e.g. their labor rates, overall experience, etc

Thanks in advance.

Default Alternator rebuild

Folks, my alternator is on its way out (13.3-13.4v at the battery) so looking for a local rebuilder. I live in South Bay but willing to go to any place in the Bay Area for quality work. Thanks in advance.

Dean’s Auto Electric and Parts in Livermore, Ca may be able to get it done? Dean knows his stuff!

Thanks a lot. Will reach out to Dean tomorrow.

I read that another member used and liked San Jose Generator & Starter. Will reach out as well (location much closer to me).

Have been going to Dan @ RMG for 5 years now for my 2001 996 Turbo and while a bit pricey definitely TOP NOTCH SERVICE.

Fremont Porsche for my 2019 CPO Cayenne. Gunter has retired a few weeks ago from Fremont. VERY GOOD, however the service advisors get slammed with work load and can work on their time management skills.

I CANNOT recommend FD Motorsports in Brentwood. I have called 6 times and left a message with no answer back over a span of 2 years. Spoken to Darin twice and he never called me back or emailed me with a quote.
