Bryko Motors in fremont is great. They've had a bunch of air-cooled cars in the shop that I've seen, and did an oil change on my 981. Took my bmw there before as well for a couple years, and was always happy with their work.

I just gave them a call, and they confirmed that historically they've done older and/or air-cooled models, but will can also service newer stuff like 997s, etc.

They said it's best to first give them a call.

Have added to the top post as follows...

East Bay - Contra Costa and Alameda Counties
...

Karl.

Default Sacramento recommendation?

Any recommendations for an Air cooled (86 Carrera 3.2) shop in the Sacramento area? The first one on the list below, Foreign Autohaus is just around the corner from me, but my 1 experience with them on my VW I didn't have a completely awesome experience.... I'm willing to try again if folks have a super positive feeling from them
Any thoughts on the others?

Sacramento Area - Including Davis, Rocklin, etc.

Have you tried the sRL link at the end of each one?

Foreign Autohaus isn't returning any hits. But some of the others are (e.g. Frank's on the 993 board)...

Called SP Motorsports, Hayward - https://www.spmsracing.com - to help with my 997.1 paddle steering wheel programing (I already installed the wheel) - was quoted $900 for the labor...

Anyone know any place in the bay area that doesn't charge an arm and leg to do a "handover" in PIWIS3? Or anyone has a PIWIS3 to help with this? Thanks!

🤔 Can this be done on a Autel scanner?
