Don't forget to register for the Seward Drive on May 21st as that weekend is the Mermaid Festival so hotel rooms will be gobbled up.
A few of us are planning on leaving Thursday May 19th and overnight in Anchorage through Saturday morning, spend Saturday and Sunday in Seward and overnight again Sunday night in Anchorage prior to driving back to Fairbanks on Monday. We plan to leave from Gold Hill gas station at 09:00 Thursday with lunch along the way.
Of course those of us with laser, radar and stealth detectors will be leading the charge whilst the rest can use your DRS.
Meet up at Carrs 1501 Huffman, Anchorage (off New Seward Hwy.)

Here are a few place holders (while I await the rest) from our majestic 1,019 miles from Fairbanks to Anchorage to Seward. Our president arranged for dreamlike weather (not too hot, not too cold, no rain, no fog) that will certainly have him nominated for sainthood. So without further ado here are some pics Mt. Denali (McKinley) in all her splendor
On the road between Anchorage and Seward
Unless you're the lead dog the view never changes
A great line up
Yes, how strange... the engine is in the back
Kenai Mountain Line Up. Forty plus years of evolution yet an unmistakable design and unmatched performance
