Just wanted to introduce myself. Longtime member. I never really knew much about this West Coast Forum and glad to have found it.
Have owned many Porsche's over the years and still cry at night for selling my '59 356 Super Sunroof Coupe 2 years ago - And yes it was silver and beautiful.

I've purchased about 12 cars in the Bay Area and love the whole process and drive home - as I get older I'm not into the 12 hour straight runs but 6-7hrs is doable.

Just sold my '05 997S 2 weeks ago and in middle of '07 997C4S purchase in SF. Car gets PPI at Rector's Porsche(Porsche Burlingame) on 6/14. If car checks out I fly down with wife and drive car home on 6/25.

Would be fun to meet up with some fellow RL'ers along the way home .
We plan to drive from SF to Santa Rosa probably arriving late on 6/25.
Then on 6/26 heading thru the curvy roads to Callistoga and spend time at one of the wineries - Stay overnight then heading to I5 North on 6/27.
Wife has to be home to Seattle by 6/28.
