Hopefully everyone settles their deposits and we can all enjoy a generous discount on this initial offering from BSPK. I have been wanting to convert to CCB since I bought the car, this seems to be an excellent product at a reasonable price.

Let me know if you had any questions or potentially wanted to sign up. Thanks!
Yes, a few:
1. When you say direct replacement, does that mean no additional parts are needed for the install?
2. With mainly street use (>95% and slow group DEs only), what is the average life of the pads and rotors before replacement? I know this varies. just a rough guesstimate is fine.
3. Do you know the typical hourly charge for labor doing the swap (not pricing, number of hours)? I've only changed rotors on a friend's Subaru and may have it done in a shop. I assume they are as fragile as OEM PCCBs, which will make me a tad nervous.
Thanks!

I don’t have a PM from you. Is it possible
for you to resend? Alternatively, you can email me at info@bspkforged.com.

Thanks for all the PMs / emails overnight. I will be replying one by one momentarily. Thanks again!

Appreciate the questions. To answer them one-by-one.

1) Yes, complete plug and play. With the 350/330 GTS 4.0 setup there are no brackets or hardware needed (which I would supply if there were - as is the case in some of the other kits). It's no different than any rotor and pad swap. Nothing else is needed.

2) In purely street use I would expect >250k miles on the rotors and likely 30-40k miles on the pads. Pads are trickier and you may find slightly less as it is somewhat best practice to replace CCB pads a bit earlier than you would with conventional iron pads (as pads wear they become more abrasive, so many elect to replace them a bit early to prioritize disc life). The DE use you described would increase pad wear and shorten the timeline there, but for the discs, I wouldn't expect a dramatic change in life if you're doing a couple lighter DE events per year. I would add that the >250k mile disc estimate is me sandbagging it heavily because the modeled life is substantially longer (again under pure street use); it's a number that would seem not credible frankly, so I just say >250k miles. Essentially the rotors should be life of car for street use. Track/DE use substantially accelerates wear and there are many individual factors that come into play in those environments, so it's hard to give a good range there but I would be surprised if you ever need to replace the discs based on what you described.

3) First off, they are more chip resistant than typical CCBs given the continuous fiber architecture, but obviously banging wheels into them isn't a great idea. In terms of shop hours, that too can vary widely by the specific shop and how they choose to bill things but generally 2-5 hours (and objectively much closer to 2 than 5). I can say in my experience, I have done this DIY as well as paid shops to do it. I love a good DIY personally but sometimes time, etc. makes the shop route much easier. I have paid to have it done twice by two different places and the first (for my BMW) charged me $100 dollars. The second time (different shop, for my Porsche) was $200. Important to note that in both of those scenarios there was other work I was having done at the same time. As such, I am sure I got slightly better pricing as a result but this isn't something that should cost a huge amount of money. The real time it should take a good shop to do this is in the 1-2 hour range, what shops charge is often different from the real time expended though.

Apologies for the long answers but hopefully I covered everything.

Thanks again!

Quick update:

The current status is 26 invoices outstanding with 16 paid

Of note, there are 3 others I would consider 95% probability (these should be paid within the next day or so). Another 1-2 I think are also very high probability. Several invoices just went out within the last hour and I still need to follow up with some of the others.

I would also be surprised if we didn't get a couple others joining over the final couples days. I woke up to 5 new inquiries this morning, so the final days typically see a lot of activity.

Based on how these things tend to go, it's looking exceedingly likely we will get to 20+.

Thank you again to everyone for the interest and participation. If anyone else would like to join please email me at info@bspkforged.com

Hopefully confirmation of the 20+ pricing will help drive last-minute sales

Technically 18 now and at least two I know are 100% in (one should pay today and the other on the 28th).

Still about 7 invoices out too (not counting the two above) where I expect several will ultimately join.

Obviously not there until it happens but we are essentially there at this point!

Make that 21! I just paid the deposit for the 380/380 setup. Is the billet caliper spacer going to be 15mm?
