Default WTB: 997 GT2 w/Carbon Buckets under 20k miles

Title says it, I’m looking to make the move into one.

Private Party Only, please

Open to most colors, black being pretty low on the list. Guards red, Speed Yellow and Carrera white are preferable choices in no particular order.

mileage is a suggestion, depends on price and options.

Looking to stay in the 160-180k range.

Will travel to see it, preferably in CA, UT, CO, AZ, TX, NM area.

Post or send a pm

Thanks!

I know you said private party but, having delt with them many times as have others on Rennlist with great happiness, Porsche of North Houston has a speed yellow 997 GT2 with Carbon Buckets. Ask for John Wright, 832-4072592 cell. He'll take care of you.

Thanks. Yeah that’s the 6.5k mike one listed for 191k. Puts it closer to 205k with taxes and fees, a bit out of my budget at the moment.

The silver 2008 at Orbit sold recently, 14k miles. Was 100% factory, I think $155k. Was a nice car.

Sounds like a deal! I didn’t even know it was out there!

Lol, I am always open to reasonable offers and don't look at them as being insulting as long as they are justified..

Having said that, I don't always publicly discuss numbers but I'm willing to do it in this case as others will see this and may be potential buyers as well if you are not.

We would be able to part with our 2008 GT2 for $185k, we have recently lowered the price about $14k to get to the listing of $191k but in truth, we just need to move the car to make room for others.

The $185k is our bottom on this car.. please let me know your thoughts and PM me with any interest.

Its a beautiful example, I’ve been looking at it quite often.

The benefit in AZ is no tax on private party sales. Moving through a dealer adds a percentage over the price which is already over what I’m looking to spend (on this particular GT2).

Wish I could make something happen, I’m sure someone will be thrilled to have it!

No worries at all, I saw that from your first post and your location so I figured that that would be the case but I wanted to give it a shot.

Best of luck with your search and I will reach out to some of my contacts with GT2's and let them know that you are looking.

Do you have pictures from the accident? In my experience, high value cars don't get a branded title with a "minor accident". Car looks awesome in the pics btw.
