I have been out of commission while recovering from back surgery and since I was restricted on some of my activities i used some of the time for small projects on the car so . Eg clean up the inside door panels, make some cool front intake grills, and 3m the roof. At this rate, I will have a done complete overhaul before I sell the car..... LOL ! Next project redo the exhaust and back bumper trim.
I bought this car 2004 as a nice street car, but that of course went down the dark path. Converted to racing with a cage to run in PCA stock class then GTS NASA where it did really well with a stock engine setup and added widebody fitment. I got a lot of help with the setup from Chris Cervelli. I eventually wanted to go from GTS to PCA GT class and that became costly. Engine I purchased had nice parts, but was not 100% put together correctly . Dawe did a nice job getting it running and I raced it for a season even though the power was just not right. So I did what we all seemed to do and take completely apart. I took my time getting it sorted and benefitted from Lon at Competition engines completely going over the CMW heads and refining the airflow with custom cams from Elgin. I had removed the JE pistons and went to RSR Mahle endurance pistons. The crank was sent to Ollies and knifed edged , balanced with the flywheel etc. Back together it was tuned by RPR and a gremlin or two in the wiring harness was sorted. So after all that I have to move on. Of course I want to keep it, but if I intend to race and stay married I must go back to a less expensive platform.
I looked over my listing and realized it sounds more like an obituary than a promotion. Truth is I am bummed to sell this and want someone to really enjoy this car. It brought me numerous wins, podiums, several track records, and just plain silly fast at any track. Attached video of 105 deg race where I had to start at the back after missing qualifying with a bad wheel bearing. Yes it's that fun to drive and the enhanced motor is way more powerful plus makes power up to 8000rpms. I would expect it's several seconds faster a lap on a typical 12 turn 2mile circuit.

sure, I will work on getting some pictures and added details. As far as potential it has actually been pretty successful: Multiple podiums PCA and NASA, 3 track records, corner workers choice award. Its a hoot to drive . Here is a quick clip of starting at the back after missing qualifying on a hot day.

993 with a 3.8, close ratio gears, well developed, and the seller a great guy. Great package all the way around. And I even like the color. I wish I had $60K laying around.
