Lightbulb WTB Cayman S (987)

Year: 2019
Make: Porsche
Model: Cayman
Cont. Porsche Models: Cayman S
Mileage (numbers only please): 50000
Color: Open to all
Price (no $ sign please): $30000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (Region): SouthEast
Body Style: Coupe
Transmission Type: Manual - 6 speed
2 or 4 Wheel Drive?: 2 Wheel Drive
Engine Type: Fuel Injection
Stereo System: AM Radio

Looking for a Cayman S, would prefer a 987.2 however would consider a 987.1

Preferred mileage between 25-75k - I'm looking for a driver not a show queen, but will consider any in my budget.

Price commensurate with mileage, options, and condition.

Looking for a car with Bose, and lighting upgrades, but nothing is really a deal breaker.

I'm located in North Carolina. I'm happy to buy a car from anywhere, though would prefer within 10 hour drive, so long as the seller is willing to take the car into a reputable PCA/Rennlist recommended shop for a PPI.

Contact me via message and I'll share my email and phone number for further communication

My friend, your search could not be any more similar to mine just one year ago. North Carolina (Durham), 987, manual S, simple options...

Took me two years of scouring all websites before I found a 2006 Cayman with all boxes checked near me. Definitely was not a quick search but good luck!

I recommend going to local Porsche specialist shops and asking them to keep an eye out for you as well. They often come across cars on the market that aren't listed in obvious places.

Hi slidemx5 - I currently own a 987 (2008 Cayman S w/ ~50k miles) and am considering my next Porsche vehicle and just in early stages of considering selling. Saw your post when I logged on today. I'll send you a private message.

What a fortuitous thread! GF and I are expecting and you know how that goes.

I have a black 06 Cayman S with 72K.

It has a pretty sparse build sheet: Litronics, heated seats and Bose, but has an upgraded sport steering wheel.

It has JIC Cross coilovers, a full XPEL over the hood, bumper, front fender, mirrors and the side vent, Cargraphics exhaust, IPD plenum, Softronic flash, Ipod connectivity, rear toe links, Numeric Racing Cup shift cables, new (2017) front girodisc 2 piece rotors and brake pads all around. Running Michelin PSS 245/295 on forged wheels. I think I'm missing a few more but that is most of the mods.

A pic on the old wheels.

I am also interested in selling my Cayman (third one, love these cars!) and moving to a 981. 2006 S located in Atlanta, around 63.5k miles. Would be happy to take it to one of the local dealers fora PPI.

Might consider selling my 07 S. 6spd, Bose, OEM HID lights. I think MSRP was around $70k.

12k miles on it. Bought it from a Porsche dealer in Atlanta. I am the second owner. PM me for price if interested.
