Porsche of North Houston has a 96 with 117,861 Miles. Asking $ 46,993.
Listed Options: Sports Suspension LSD Limited Slip Differential w/ 40% Lock Automatic Limited Slip Differential 18 Technology Wheels Automatic Speed Control Moonroof CD Radio CDR-210
Comparison - Same Options on a Triple Black car But No Aerokit - No Sport Seats - No Aluminum Dash or Handbrake / Shifter - No Litronic Headlights and No Motor Sound Package.
My car effectively has 108ooo miles - so ?on a Rebuild with Full History. Hmmm
I can bring her across the Border and may even Deliver
How do I compare?

Oh Been sitting - Lots of Dealers Holding - Prices r Rising

We are not in prime selling car time - yet - March / April.

I have to admit I am looking for a specific car to replace my car.
So No urgency to sell a Good Car.

I may have found my Replacement - I am Looking for a Modded car - a 993 preferably so I am Offering mine 4 sale Because it is Unmolested - But the slippery slope is waiting! :>)

I bring her across the border for a serious buyer.
Seems a few Buyers are afraid of crossing a bridge into canada LOL
Maybe they r afraid or >? LOL

I have 3 Offers just for the Seats - so I can reduce the Price of the car if someone wants her without those Rare Heated Softback Sport Seats.

If Porsche does not come out with another Stick car soon - likely a New GT3 with manual - then prices on the 993 and all of the 911's will rise IMHO.
take a look at GT3 Prices - 2016 Up $75000 + over msrp.

Being in Canada is certainly not helping with prospective buyers. I think those willing to jump through those perceived hoops might be more likely to do so with lower mileage, hard-to-find cars.

I'm not sure prices are rising as much as some sellers/dealers seem to think, particularly on driver cars with more miles. It isn't 2014 anymore.

Have you found any comparable high-mileage cars that have actually sold recently?

Yes actually most recent is a car with "stated" mileage at 120,000 at $42,000 US

When I compare my car with that one it was not a Limited Slip car - had no Aerokit and No Sport Seats, No Litronics etc etc.
There was a RL member who sold his in 2014 I think had 180,000 at $38.

All I can offer is that it's usually hard to outsmart the market. If it's not selling, it's priced too high for current conditions, for whatever reason - being in Canada, miles, not listed in the right places, etc. When the market speaks, motivated sellers do well to listen.

I mentioned 2014 because that was the steepest part of the inflation when people were frantic to get their hands on any air-cooled before they went to the moon. Things have calmed down and buyers seem to be more picky (which is easy to do because of the flood of cars available).

Having recently purchased a 95 C2 I did consider your car and the car you linked.

The white 96 was bought by the dealer from GR auto gallery. Asking price there was 38,900.

I like your car and think it is nice but personally if I'm going to have to deal with the inconvenience of importing it, (not a huge deal but less convenient anyway) I would want to be buying at a discount, especially considering the exchange rate.

The only other thing I would suggest is a new add with the car detailed and better photos. Super clean, new floor mats, matching color of airbag on steering wheel and nice photos would go a long way IMO.

Being parked on dirt and grass with old blankets and cans laying around just isn't good presentation.

Yes, I agree. I will move the car South in the near future.

I agree being in canada is difficult for exposure.
I can easily re-Import the car since she is a US car. Last title in Florida.
Duty is Only 2 1/2 % which can be worked out.
I Need a Road trip! Perhaps Sebring in March for the Tudor since I am not in Daytona today

I agree, the Listing definitely needs a better presentation. It was impulsive on my part - thought I had found a highly modded car but seller changed his mind.

Last year there was a car on Pelican with 139,000 Miles believe Sold $39
Then recent is a 111,000 mile 95 - base car with rims at $42000 last week
I think Motobri has his available - was offered 42,000 with 111,000 - he declined. That looks like a nice car.

Finding another clean unmolested properly equipped no story original from the factory car does not come available very often. Rare IMHO. I can wait :>)
