I've decided to sell my RS. I work for a Porsche dealer and I sold this car new. I acquired it about a year ago and performed most of the mods since then. The car has been driven on the track about 10 times.

2007 Gt3RS in RS orange and full black leather with cloth carbon GT2 seats

Nav, bi-xenon lights, Club sport roll bar(in orange) ceramic brakes

Mods:

GMG center section pipe
GMG headers
GIAC DME
cup front spoiler
coolant pipes welded
moton suspension with 700 and 900 springs
front caster pucks
rear adjustable toe arms with locking plates
rennline floor mats
3m clear bra
braille battery

all fluids just replaced this spring. all original paint with no defects, this car is mint. tires are about 75% and the brakes are mint(pads have around 1k miles and rotors are perfect. I can offer the option to have the car CPO'd for the new buyer being I can sell it through my dealer. i'll post more pics tonight... PM with any questions.

Scott

Wouldn't the CPO (if you put it on) only take you through the end of this year?

Very nice example. How much will including the CPO add to the car's final cost?

From my experience, the CPO adds two years to the four years from the In Service date. If a Porsche is out of the four year period, then I do not think the dealer can CPO the car. I bought a Cayenne S with 51K miles and 3 years from the In Service date. The dealer CPO'd the car and that took it to six years from In Service date and 100k miles. At 95k miles and 2.5 years from the date I purchased the Cayenne S, the Cardan Shaft broke and it was covered under CPO warranty because the car was within the six year period and 100K mile limit.

No, any car any car with in 8 years of the in service date can be CPO'd for 2 years from.

if the car is still under factory, then you will have coverage for 2 more years from in service date and up to 100K miles. if the car is out of warranty (my car) then the CPO will be for 2 years from purchase and 50K additional miles then what's on the car up to 100K miles.

The CPO cost will add $2,800 to the price.

Scott, maybe a stupid question, but will they certify the car with the engine having run GIAC software mods before?

yes. with Porsche, all that is neededis a list of items installed aftermarket. so if the exhaust or suspension fail, it was noted that they were non oem parts and wont be covered.

So, if your car is CPO'd and the GIAC software is noted then someone blows a motor there is no way P is going to cover that is there?
