1992 European Cup (964) Race Car for sale. This is one of the original, lightweight Euro-spec factory cup cars that was raced in Europe from 1992-1994. It is 100% stock/original and is legal for Porsche Club Racing in Class GTC-1. Also ideal for vintage racing. I believe that only about 20 unmolested examples remain, so it has significant collectibility potential as well. I bought the car last year with the intention of doing some vintage racing and spent about 40K getting it race ready. All worn suspension/chassis parts were replaced, and I installed a new shifter, cool suit, gas tank and fuel lines, radio, steering wheel, etc. The car also comes with two sets of new custom Forgeline lightweight rims (see pictures). I chose not to race the car but did some track time and the engine is very strong. (At PCA Lime Rock we would have taken pole in GTC-1 by at least two seconds.) All recent work was performed by Rick DeMan of DeMan Motorsport, West Nyack, NY. This car is in absolutely super condition and ready to race. Yes this is. I saw it at LRP with a fresh repaint and reapplication of graphics. It looks great and they add an Aim dash. That is a strong asking price.

I have lowered the asking price to $89k. This car looks even better in person and is ready to race. I do not believe you will find another one for sale in this condition. We did not race at Lime Rock but our best lap times were two seconds better than the pole, and weren't even running slicks.
