New info on the car from GPR and new price - $78,000 with a second set of wheels.
According to GPR, the car was built from a raw Porsche Motorsport Tub in 2007. Original Cup motor was new at the same time of the build. Gearbox was reviewed (their term) and refreshed as needed after every race. When retired and sold to the U.S. buyer, the car had 80 total hours on it.
Upon passing this info along to the current owner, he gave me a few other pieces of info:
He confirmed that the car was never run in the U.S. until he did in 2012. He has put approximately 5 hours on the car in 2012. The car did not run at the Chin event this past weekend due to excessive rain both days. It was there to run but they never took it out.
Before running in 2012:
Goldcrest put new coil packs in the car
Switched over all the European connectors to US style for the Motec and radios
Replaced all Monoballs in the car (According to him, normal cups do not come with monoballs but instead rubber)
Upgraded suspension arms to fully adjustable
Put on "blade" style swaybars
GPR is glad to directly answer questions from buyers as long as they have a French translator.

I asked Goldcrest this question. They say that clubrace guys typically go 120 hours before a rebuild. Others, just keep running it until something breaks. They say that this is one is making full power, so there is no need to get into it.
Gearbox has been recently refreshed and should be good for another 15-20 hours.
