Of course they both flaked! Talk is cheap. Even the other RL'er that wanted to see it and had no problem with the price only to keep me going for 10 days and cancelled 2 hours before he was suppose to show up. But I'm happy to say that the fire sale is over and it's going back to it's original price. Crisis averted. I would have hated to see it go at 10....and lose several thousand dollars also.

Same here for others on glad it holds for a while. I just don't have proper garage space for that beauty right now. The $10K+ isn't an issue, I just don't know where I would put it. I even talked to my Dad about storing it there, but thats no fun. A 635 csi will be part of my total collection no matter what and I love the detail on yours down to the paint correction. I would have it forever. The 635 csi is near and dear to my heart but thats a long story. Glad you are keeping it for now and when you revive the sale I will PM you. Also glad your crisis has been averted. Didn't sound like fun.

I will be returning to Maine at the end of September and would like to move this before winter to someone who'll have time to spend driving the daylights out of it. It was almost sold in the spring but the PPI revealed (and I was there) that it was much too nice of a car to drive daily in the winter. The guy lived in Boston and wanted it for a daily driver. So I guess it either needs to head to warmer climes or avoid the nasty, salty New England winters as it is very clean. The BMW mechanic said it had many years since he had seen one so clean in my neck of the woods. I will try to get a copy of the PPI to post from the mechanic as I do not have it with me.
Serious inquiries only as I have had sooooo many people waste my time telling stories of the 635's that they have owned and also why my car isn't worth the price when they had never seen the car. I am fair and honest and will work with anyone to help have the vehicle delivered and answer any questions. I have too many cars right now as I have and will only be spending 6 months or so a year in Maine for the foreseeable future and would like to see it go to a good home.
