Proper factory options for the track: has LSD but no sunroof, no A/C, and no radio with Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and supply of collectible RSA manuals, brochures, side decals and engine lid scripts.

2nd owner; garaged, no smoke, no snow, rain once. Clean CarFax. Car is well known and recognized in PCA for its preparation, appearance and performance. Immaculately prepared and maintained with no expense spared. Only 21k mi. on Ps & Cs and main bearings, 7k mi. on valve springs, steel synchros and fuel injector balance, and 2k mi. on LSD discs. As prepped, weighs approx. 2,680# w/o fuel. Very rare Porsche Motorsport Cup gearbox with close-ratio gearing provides significant performance advantage and is from ’92 Cup driven by Mika Hakkenin. Extremely competitive car with impressive lap times; typically one of the fastest, if not the fastest, 964 at the track, including Club Race RSAs and 964 Cups. Relative to 964 Cup, this RSA has the same engine and same gearbox with bigger brakes and better suspension; just as fast for a fraction of the cost! Sample of 2012 lap times with Hoosier R6’s and in less than ideal conditions: Summit Point 1:21, VIR FC 2:10, Mosport 1:36, Mont Tremblant 1:52 and Road Atlanta 1:39. Car garners lots of attention and compliments for appearance and performance at every event.

Full disclosure: Engine pulls strong and continues to produce personal best lap times. The latest leak-downs have dropped some, but all acceptable. Car has experienced two track contacts that required limited bodywork and paint: 2001 rear bumper and wing, 2010 right front fender and front bumper. The chassis is straight and true and all alignment specs remained perfect; work performed was exceptional, and I paid the hourly rate delta to ensure that the work was to my exacting standards. Everyone that knows the car agrees that the bodywork was outstanding and would be of no issue to them.

The white factory sticker under the hood and the factory sticker in the factory Maintenance book are original and intact. This car has a clean and clear title. The CarFax is clean but does note one time that it failed emissions inspection because I tried to get it to pass without reinstalling the catalytic converter (included) in place of the cat bypass.

This is a truly amazing car with numerous references available regarding preparation and performance. My good sense has returned and I've opted to hold onto my RSA for the time being so I am withdrawing it from the market. I may still make a change later this year or early next year, and if so will repost it then.
