Owned by PCA Mardi Gras Region, DE Instructor. Car located near New Orleans. I have had this car for 13 years. When I purchased the car it was black. The car was disassembled, meaning doors, all glass, hoods, bumpers, fenders were removed and then painted and then together again. The color is a Ferrari Yellow. There are a few dings (see photos) as is expected, but overall the pain is still fresh as the car is always garaged. The front pan has no rust.

This car rides and turns and handles like a Porsche should. The suspension needs nothing, the stiffer torsion bars, sway/roll bars and the decambered ball joints, make this a joy to drive. You can go around corners just about a fast as you want to without tire squeal or loss of control.

The engine has good compression (125 lbs average), has a coil-less ignition system, and was just tuned. The engine is fed by two PMO 46 IDA
carbs with 36mm venturis. They were rebuilt in January 2012. Engine has great oil-pressure and front thermostatically controlled mounted oil cooler.

The brakes have been updated to ‘84-‘89 calipers with the thicker drilled rotors. A new master cylinder was installed in January 2012.

This car is my baby and I do not want to part with it. Except where noted, I have done all of the work on this car myself.

I am only selling because of two reasons. First, the last photo (couldn't fit in ad) is of a 1981 930, which I bought in 2010 and keeping two Porsches is not something my wife wants right now and secondly, LSU tuition! It keeps going up and I want my son to finish there.

If you have any questions, send me an e-mail: I have more pictures to send.
