can anypne comment on the reliability / service requirements of the 458?
I have no idea and am not suggesting it's expensive to maintain - but would be curious to hear.
Probably a lot of P-car guys not familiar with the F marque and they might as well be curious too

From the research I've done the 458 is pretty bullet proof. Very similar to the 911 reliability. $1800 yearly service. Actually does a lot, its not just an oil change. The warranty can be renewed in March 2020 for $4500.

Pre-'12 cars are tougher to sell.
when are you going to post your 08 anyways lol.

$1800 annual svc + another $1500 (if you factor $4500 for factory warranty for 3 yrs)?

Supposedly the gearbox software. I've heard of gearbox failures in 2010s as much as I have 2012 and newer. Best part about this car is, given the mileage being 17k and no gearbox issues, you probably won't see the issue on this one. Kind of like a higher mileage 997 wont see an IMS. Also, the warranty attached to the car covers the entire gearbox so no worries there either.

Finding a good independent shop will cut that way down....there are plenty out there with mechanics that mostly have come from dealers
