The car: 2016 991 GTS, RWD, Coupe. Full options list below, but I am extremely happy with the way I built it. SPASM is excellent and still comfortable, 5 lugs in silver were my preference, the full leather is incredible, and looks and wears better than alcantara in my opinion, Burmester is wonderful after years of terrible Porsche stereos, and the manual transmission in my opinion is necessary!
Condition: I've always been a car freak, and I'm the most meticulous owner you could hope for. I had the oil changed at 1,000 miles to get rid of the break-in oil, then annually after that. All service has been done at the dealer, except a brake fluid flush, which I did myself with a Motive bleeder kit in my garage last summer. It doesn't use a drop of oil in between changes. The car never sees any revs before the oil is up to temperature, but I do drive it. I am not a clutch slipper - I drive it well. It's been in the rain three times, maybe four. Never snow or salt. The paint is in better condition than it came from the factory. I use the two bucket wash method and the paint has more than one coat of Menzerna sealant. The wheels and brake calipers have sealant inside and out. It has a full XPEL film on the entire front end, the entire hood, mirrors, in front of the sunroof, and I had the stock stone guards behind the doors replaced with larger ones for added protection. All was done in the first week of ownership. The interior is new - there isn't any sign of wear anywhere. I just replaced the rear tires with new PZeros. The fronts still have more than half their tread left. Note: The rotors are only rusty in the photos because it started to rain after I washed it and I wasn't able to go for a drive to dry them.
History: I ordered this car from the factory at the end of 2015 through Ed Carroll Porsche in Fort Collins, CO. All service has been done by them as well. I tracked the ship the whole way to Houston, and even have a webcam shot of the ship as it came into port with my car on it. It's not a daily driver, but I do take it out whenever I can when the weather is good.
Issues: I had a warranty issue early on. There was a persistent rattle up front that required 3 trips to the dealer. They eventually determined that there was an issue with the mounting pad underneath the fuel tank. Other cars have had the same issue, and a few were able to diagnose it quickly because I posted about it on RL. The pad was replaced and the rattle is gone for good. While trying to diagnose it, the dealer addressed anything in the interior that could remotely cause a rattle. The car is now extremely tight and silent - not true for all Porsches out there! Other than that, there is a minor scuff on the front lip and a small scratch in the clear bra that did not penetrate the XPEL (photos of both below).
Serious inquires only please - I'm happy to spend as much time as you'd like answering questions for a serious buyer.
1 of 2 blemishes - minor scrape on bottom of lip. Only visible underneath the car.
2 of 2 blemishes - small scratch in the Xpel covering - does not penetrate the clear bra.

Yeah - I admit I like those center locks, but I worried about tire people being able to torque them properly and felt the 5-lugs were much simpler. Tough call!

Nice touch on the black/tan interior vs all black! GLWS
