Porsche 997 GTS, 2012, 6-speed manual. Handsome and rare Macadmia metallic with Espresso leather, 6 speed manual, factory adaptive sport seats, Porsche Sport exhaust, sports suspension and limited slip.
Just 19,840 babied miles, clean CarFax, healthy over-rev report (no condition 3 or higher) was CPO until age limit, then added a 3/36 Platinum Fidelity warranty.
The GTS is a wide-body, normally aspirated car, with turbo brake cooling plus a 23 hp bump over the ‘S’. There were 2656 GTS models. Porsche NA estimates 10-12% were 6 speeds, less than 5% being Macadamia, so less than 20 cars.
Sold and serviced by Brumos Porsche in Jacksonville (as was my M491 car oddly enough) with Hurley Haywood’s numbered decal in the window.
Exterior Cosmetics - The car appears to have fully original paint, no door dings, only minor pips in front fascia. The lowest part of the front spoiler has light scratching . The paint glows in the light, almost looking black in low light.
The wheels are free of curb rash and the clear coating is still quite shiny. Rubber and plastic trim is all nice, neat, straight. Same goes for plastic bezels, lights, lenses, headlights.
Interior cosmetics – The Espresso natural leather is a higher grade of leather than normal, more supple and tighter grained. The seat surfaces are very nice, even the usually scuffed entry bolster on the drivers seat is nice. There is some leather stretching on the driver seat hip area, but no wear through the material.
The door panels, dashtop, steering wheel, back seats, carpets are all excellent. The factory floor mats are beneath the new Calico Cocoa mats and in great condition.
This car was specially ordered ‘Alcantara delete’. The headliner, console, glovebox are also nice, though there is some color wear on the outside left edge of the lighter console lid.
Mechanical, electrical, suspension, brakes – As 997.2 cars are known to be very reliable, (non IMS issue, direct injection, general model progress) there’s not much to say other than it starts instantly, idles evenly, pulls strong, and behaves as designed.
All electricals for windows, mirrors, power seats, sunroof work well. As do gauges, AC, heat, radio, Bose system, all seem to be in proper working order. Controls for the sport exhaust, suspension settings, all work as designed.
Car has a Fidelity ‘Platinum’ warranty/service contract for 3 years, 36k miles, or until 12/28/2020.
Why I’m Selling – I bought two GTS, a PDK and 6 speed. As I’m taking a long overdue retirement road trip with my wife, I rationalized the PDK could be shared for driving. So the 6-speed car is for sale.
Overall – The car is an absolute joy to drive. Though I’ve had many 911s over the years, this car is – to me – like the most modern adaptation of the naturally aspirated sports car theme. It’s fast, tight, comfortable. The 6 perfectly spaced gears and 2wd is a delight; the sport suspension and locking diff merely enhance the sporting feel.
On top of this – the options and color just make it. The glow of the warm Macadamia and the purposeful sport seats set it off. If the colors, options, miles, and condition ‘speak’ to you, it’s probably worth pursuit. Best wishes to the lucky and decisive new owner.

Corrections don't take away from this stellar example. I'm just neurotic.
Good luck with sale. This is a terrific example. Hope it goes to a good home.
The GTS models are rare, accounting for only 2,656 C2 coupes, 23 additional horsepower, polished intake header (not GT3), and the wider ‘turbo bodied’ extended wheel arches and performance oriented front fascia. GTS also get Turbo brake cooling with standard Carrera S hardware, with center lock wheels like the GT3.
Good luck with sale. This is a terrific example. Hope it goes to a good home.

I've had a couple phone calls and PMs, about to respond to the remaining two from RL, then off the 'other' site's messages. I'm in Central time zone for those who've asked, typically can take calls til about 10 pm. Thanks again. I do love this car, and look forward to meeting the next caretaker.
