Trailex 7541 Tie Down Help!
My Dad just picked up a used 7541 trailer but is wondering what the best way to strap down a 996 would be. Can anyone post up some pictures of best ways to do it? TIA

Lasso straps through the wheels..
Much debate on the subject.
Been doing it like this since 2010.
No issues, damage or alignment issues.

If you use wheel straps and ratchet straps you may need to get close couple snap hooks if the car is a bit long vs. the trailer. These hooks connect directly to the ratchet eliminating a short section of strap.

I would not. Get a set if the rennline mounts and use 4 straps. U can always go through the rims but if u do it wrong they can rotate and cause the straps to loosen. U should loop though the spoke and pull toward the hub. I pull toward the middle on my toter but u can see the way i have the back strap in this pic. U would be on the other side pulling foward and back in a trailer

I installed these:

I find it more convenient than looping through the wheels and you can really ratchet down the bajebus out of the car.
