Bricked in <1 month

Had my 2020 Taycan 4S for less than a month and now it won’t a start.
it all started with the error message,”electrical system error…” had it have it towed to the dealership. That was over two weeks ago..
Apparently, the service dept. is still waiting to hear back from Porsche if it requires a full battery replacement or cell. Luckily, the car is still under warranty. How everything, They informed me that it could be a few weeks to order parts and repair. They delivered a loaner, free of charge, while I wait.
Needless to say, I’m dissatisfied and disappointed.
Anyone out there who had this happen to them? Any words of advice in terms of getting compensation of some kind or expediting the repairs? I financed my vehicle and am paying for a car I can’t drive until who knows for how long.
Appreciate any insights, suggestions or encouragement.

In your situation I would be extremely happy with a replacement battery, and if it takes Porsche a while, well I’d just make do with the loaner.
With a new battery and if everything else is working fine, that’s a big win in my book.
YMMV

My 2020 Turbo with 30 k miles did the same earlier this year. Got a new battery after the second "electrical system error". Took about 3 weeks to have replaced. New battery has better range and it's not really that uncommon of a problem. My dealer has replaced several. Frustrating for sure, but as long as I don't have to pay, I am happy that I have a newer battery.

Still kind of concerning for buying one near the end of or out of warranty.

So the dealer confirmed that Porsche only authorized the replacement of 3 cells and NOT the entire battery, even though they “advocated” for one.
To make matters worse, the dealer told me that this process takes much longer to complete than a full battery replacement. They estimate 2-3 months.
Seeing how it’s no longer a full battery replacement, I’m concerned about longer term issues. Im considering asking the dealer to work with me on a trade. Thoughts?
And, thanks to all who replied to my first post about this.

Yea that's about right for the time frame. Some replacements seem to work and others still have additional problems. Tough one to call. If your dealer gives you a decent trade go for it.
