G - 2021/22
H - 2023
2021 and 2022 are in my experience the most reliable Taycan to date. 2023 definitely had its issues, seen several cars. 2024 remains to be seen
That’s why I particularly like G battery modules.

I can't offer the link to the quote (at this moment) but Porsche is recommending replacing entire module with a pre tested one (instead of
replacing a single cell block in the battery) to minimize the time to repair the vehicle.
Also I can't offer the link, apparently there's less than 25 Porsche Zuffenhausen qualified EV/HV battery techs in America

Are facelifted Taycan battery (H?) compatible into older Taycan?

Never heard the bunny (enegizer bunny) say "don't mix batteries"

Porsche recommends many things, which almost every time happens to be things that benefit their profits 😂😂
They also recommend a $20,000 “battery cell balancer” to balance the Taycan battery pack.
I use a 24V charger and the following special tool:

A 24V 100W light bulb to discharge the module. And a 24V to charge them.
That’s how I balance a Taycan battery pack:

You can mix batteries…. As long as you know very clearly the condition of each module you are mixing 😉

It would be good to be convinced that they weren't a high risk for battery failure because the price is right on 2020's
