Battery leak recall

See yesterday’s Electrek article about an imminent recall on our (MY23) Taycans. Apparently they started using a different sealant in May, so builds after that may not be affected. Dealers are to be notified this week with letters going out to us in late Oct. US contact # is 800-767-7243, recall # APB2. I didn’t realize the batteries are apparently modular, allowing replacement.
Bummer. Still, my GTS ST provides driving enjoyment on par with my modded 911 Turbo. They’ll figure it out.

This may explain why my Taycan GTS ST is now sitting at the Houston port for over a month now.

https://www.autoblog.com/2023/09/12/...ecall/Assigned recall number 23V-615 and 23V-613, respectively, by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the campaigns include 4,777 units of the Taycan and 1,899 examples of the E-Tron GT, though the brand estimates that the problem is present in about 3% of the recalled cars. Several trim levels are affected, and the build date varies from model to model. The full list of recalled cars is below.
…Starting on October 31, 2023, owners will be asked to take their car to an authorized dealerso that a technician can perform a leak test. The battery pack will be replaced by a unit sealed with a material made by a brand named Teroson if the results indicate that there is a leak.

Unfortunately, mine belong to this recall group, and I have an apointment scheduled to fix the buzzing sound from the front.
Do you guys think the dealership be able to tkae care of the recall now or I need to go back there after Oct 31?
Also, are they going to replace the whole battery pack if there's an issue per recall?

I'm in the sunbelt and it doesn't rain much here, does it mean I have less chance of getting a liquid intrusion arc resulting in a fire? I'm trying to see if it's still safe to park the car in my indoor garage before it burns the house down.

Luckily my garage is filled up with GT cars so my Taycan stays outside and now it's not going anywhere near my garage.

The notice is being delivered today.
I had scheduled the work with the dealer but they cancelled, saying they have neither battery pack nor pressure relief valve.
It was explained that if it wasn't leaking they'd install the valve.
