They could, but then they would sell it as a $102k car instead of $100k if it was standard feature. Instead they let you have the option to order a car configured with the features you want and not just standard with a handful of packages that limit how you configure. They’re known for letting people configure the cars with personalized options, that’s kind of their thing.
