GTS Build Feedback Wanted
I got my allotment in December and have been poring over my build for the last couple of months. I feel like I am getting close to my final build and just want some outside perspective.
Carmine Red + Atacama Beige
Decided to spend on wheels instead. Went with mission-e wheels.
I had PDCC on my Cayenne.
Just my opinion but unless you plan on a lot of spirited driving on twisty roads, it's not really worth it.
Wouldn't be such an issue but the B pillars is massive, and part of the arm rest.
I dropped PDCC. It seems like people are of a 50/50 mindset on it and it boils down to how 'extreme' of a driver you are. I am buying a Taycan because I need something more practical than a MX5 or Cayman, more green than a Macan, and more fun than a Tesla. I enjoy the act of driving but after 16 years of riding sport bikes, I just don't have the fortitude to keep pushing vehicles to their limits and just want something to blast around at my own pace.
I also added the race-tex on the B-pillar. Glad someone pointed that out because I really don't want anything to feel cheap at this price point. Is the mirror panel in race tex also worth it at $510? The pictures make it look like it hardly covers anything.
re: Burmeister, I'm having a little trouble swallowing the cost for that one.
Now this is counter-intuitive, but I am big into listening to music and not as much audiophile. I have a hi-fi setup at home and find myself enjoying my 'crappier' speakers more because it hides compression artifacts from streaming. I know I can download FLAC files to get the most out of them, but my taste in music changes by the hour and it's hard for me to know what I'm going to be in the mood for on a random drive a week from now and then dig out the one laptop in the house that still has an SD card slot to save it.
Another thing that I am looking forward to in the car is the wireless CarPlay, so I will likely always be streaming over Bluetooth.
So all that aside: is the Burmeister still good for someone who is going to be streaming from Spotify/Apple Music with the High/Very High quality setting over Bluetooth?

B-pillars in racetex is worth it IMO and I would get the racetex mirror if it was 'carte blanche' with the budget.
- b pilars
- mirror
- center console
Not done the seat bases, as I dont really remember them as plastic and/or a touch point you feel or see daily
Burmester is a big one, one you'll not really see a massive amount back on over bose but for me it's a tick
