I heard a rumor on line for 2 rear motors only version.
Current 4S, Turbo and Turbo S each have two motors - one front, one rear.
A Taycan 4 would have front / rear motors, but further de-rated from 4S. A Base would have one rear motor only. Hence the reason no Taycan 4. You already have AWD versions with 2 motors in three trim flavors (Turbo S, Turbo, 4S). No real need for a fourth variant with same powertrain setup. And switching to to motors in the rear would be very costly for an entry level variant with no gain other than torque vectoring.

I hear you and concur with your technical descriptions, but I'm not so sure I agree with your conclusion.
The Panamera exists as Base, 4, 4 e-hybrid, 4S, GTS, Turbo, and Turbo S e-hybrid. Plus Sport Turismo variants of each. Plus Executive (stretched) versions of some. Porsche has never shied away from offering a bewildering number of ways to skin the cat (i.e. take our money). so while I get that the Taycan is a different animal, I'll lean toward "they'll put out a Base and a 4" until they don't

Hate to rain on your parade, but youre thinking of the Taycan like an ICE car. The Panamera and Panamera 4 have one powertrain, a single turbo V6. The only difference is the front diff, propahaft and transfer case. Engine has the same power.
In order to create a Taycan base and Taycan 4, youd have to have one motor in the base, but two in the 4. The motors would have to be half the power of the one rear motor in the base. I just dont see that as likely.

I could just as easily say "Hate to rain on your parade, but you're thinking of the Taycan like something other than a Porsche." As I say, I will believe that Porsche will release more variants than you're positing right up until they don't. You're getting bogged down in the specifics of how you believe they "must" do it if they do it.
