I may have missed it however in 4 yrs of monitoring E development I've never heard mention of FWD.....and it would be pretty unusual for the Pcar company.

I saw somewhere that the GTS and base would be RWD. Never a mention of FWD. Sept 4th will clarify hopefully.

You might have 20,000 deposits, but there’s no way that 20,000 people want to spend the 140 grand or so on the highest model that will be introduced first.

They will want the $70,000 model. And the second screen is duplicative and an after thought to the Tesla big screen. IMO. As the home screen is configurable.

Early adopters ....is the turbo sound configurable?

Its all marketing. I personally I’m not spending a dime over $85K on an E version of a Panamera. Tired of seeing mules and reading articles and getting teaser gifts and certificates on the mail.

Where is a demo car I can go test drive feel, touch etc so we can make up our mind if to go configure or ask for the money back??? Been 2 years already C’mon!!

Sorry guys just venting here....

Yes buying the base Taycan will be like buying a 912: a sheep in wolf's clothing. That is what I want.

Under the radar. Same here. I want the base taycan for 80k. That’s why I signed up two years ago.

Otherwise I’ve been looking at Panamera or Cayenne e-hybrids 20-25 miles elec range plus you get a partial tax credit. Panamera has significant dealer discounts these days plus $4500 cash from Porsche if you have a current lease in the household lots of left over 2018’s and soon to be 2019’s around.

Hopefully we’ll have a lot of answers Wednesday.

Default Multiple deposits

Forgive me if this is already been answered, but can you make more than one deposit at more than one dealer?

No need to apologize brother.
People on the Taycan Forum have been calling me out since fall of 2017 when I speculated the test mule body was the deal.
Dealer demos.......I will speculate that around 200 of them are being made....probably all same color. They will over here before long.....Those who do go forward might see cars by Feb.....maybe sooner.

There will be a $70,000 model? I thought the cheapest one is $90,000+.
