Nice. I just bought one as well. Should arrive from BC to Toronto later this week!

Then RX1 is the best as it's the smallest camera with a full frame sensor in it. There are also a range of them by Fuji that are all good. They're not full frame but are cheaper. Www.dpreview.com a good place to start.

Hyper, great pick up! Enjoy that beauty.

When I see the 987 from this angle it looks downright short and stubby to me (in a good way) compared to the 981, which looks more elongated. I had to look up the specs to see if my eyes were playing tricks.

981 length = 173.8 inches
987 length = 172. 1 inches

A diff of 1.7 inches (flaunting my math skills here).

I would have sworn it was greater than that. The 987 just seems more compact visually.

That's what I always thought, but then every month I see Zwart's pics in Pano taken on his 6 and I start to question if maybe I'm not the problem. Of course, I then immediately dismiss that possibility outright and attribute the diff in image quality between his pics and mine to some fancy post-editing software he must use.

Yeah . . . that's gotta be it.

I'm about to drive the North Coast 500 in Scotland again. Anyone else near there? I'll be sure to post some more pics as it's pretty wild up there
