thank you and all the kind welcomes to the web. the car is a 2011, 21,000 miles with sport chrono, PDK, A/C, SportDesign Steering Wheel/paddle shifts, sport seats full leather, cup holders and a after market Borla exhaust. I am learning the PDK and the sport, sport + modes as I've been trained old school with manuals, an '87 911 and '89 951

Default Rennsport

Surprised no one posted anything from Rennsport yet ... Easy Pick'in Spyder shots ... enjoy

BTW I hope the Toyo Tire Spyder makes it back to be fully repaired...looks like its well on its way.
One other note...on the 3rd day at Rennsport coming into Laguna Seca we spotted a Red Spyder (987) off the side of the road that looked like it was rear ended...I had no time for a pic but I hope that one makes it as well.

A nice YouTube review...

I’ve had the privilege of driving this pass a couple of times in my Spyder.
Simply the best !!

Privilege is right. Wow. To be above the clouds like that. Definitely jealous. Just when I think some of our U.S. roads are pretty epic, these passes remind me that you Euro guys are in a whole other league.

I did the Furkapass and St. Gotthard Pass this summer, albeit in a rented 430i cabriolet, and it was magical. Most beautiful scenery I've ever seen. Definitely a bucket list destination. Set your maps to Lauterbrunnen and tell me what happens when you get there.

Nice snag! The PDK is a superb transmission and especially when it's put in Sport and Sport + and driven with the flappy paddles. Incredible. Enjoy!

Thank you, I drove today in sport, manual, paddles I can say with no reservations it was the best drive I have ever had, I was hesitant about PDK as a manual man but I am totally converted, I am telling all my Porsche buddies they must drive PDK!
