Hi,
Hope the thread is still alive.
Here's mine and I think a very early one. It has now 59 tkm on tacho.
I bought it this summer. Interior two-toned Sand-Beige Leather /Black Alcantra.
1. CU790070 (built in Uusikaupunki Finland)
2. 20/1/2011 (Registrated in Germany)
3. Aqua Blue
4. PDK
5. Yes
6. Uusimaa
7. Finland
I think this is the earliest one so far in this thread, if I didn't miss something. It looks like this was a fully optioned press car. Has AC, PCM and Sport exhaust.
The colors exterior/interior are fabulous.

Central radiator on a MT car? Was this an option or was it added by a prior owner?
#205
That was a previous owner's addition. He lived in the Southwest and saw high temps on 100+ degree days. I don't know that I'll notice a difference here in Virginia, but there you have it.
And as I look closely, I also notice how good the little Cayman is at scooping up fall leaves.

Straight From Germany....are these the true Prod. Cayman/987.2 numbers?
Yesterday I got into a discussion with a person on the Production Numbers of the Cayman R vs. 987.2 (only) Spyders. I did not realize he was in Germany and he sent a picture of a German Online (a German Rennlist sorta I guess) site for Porsches there. I attached the information (pic below) he sent for only purposes on what it is and by no means is this guaranteed info. But it is interesting data. Especially the showing of Cayman R's made in CY 2010 for a car called a MY 2012. The guy practically swore this was straight from the person who got it from the "inside".
The following is the English Translation of the German words.....Hello Cayman Friends,
I just got the production figures for the Cayman R from the historical archive of Porsche.
2010: 10
2011: 977
2012: 151
That makes a total of 1138 vehicles and the Cayman R thus a truly rare “growth”. The Historical Archive has also confirmed the production figures for the Spyder.
2009: 33
2010: 1418
2011: 493
So it makes a total of 1944 Boxster Spyders. Personally, I was astonished that fewer vehicles were produced and sold by the Cayman R, which is reasonably suitable for everyday use, than the Spyder.
