I went the expensive upgrade and installed PCCB's and I could not be happier . The brakes are nothing short of FANTASTIC. No brake dust, superb stopping with great feel AND by reducing unsprung weight the car handles even better not only on spirited cornering (pronounced autocross) but in day to day street driving.
Anyone need a complete set of OEM iron brakes, front and rear off a Spyder? Over 60% wear remaining and includes calipers, pads, rotors, sensors etc.

Former Vendor
Brembo has a dedicated track package for the 987 Cayman and Boxter using a heavy duty 355 x 32mm race disc which most cayman club guys use. Works perfect with the GT3 master as well. PM us for pricing.
It is a race caliper & has a hard anodized body, SS piston inserts, swing bridge for fast pad swaps and is perfect for track use if that is what you are looking for.

I am still completely happy with my rather expensive upgrade as I could not be happier with the improved braking and handling that PCCB's offer

Actually no the 3.4 is well balanced for the car. Great nimble daily driver and auto x car . I could not be happier with it

I just did the GT3 MC upgrade on my 08 CS. I would recommend bench bleeding the MC to get the air out of the system. I tried using a bench bleeder kit (Dorman 13911 HELP! Master Cylinder Bleeder Kit) but it was SAE fittings. Use the correct fittings (12-1.0 mm tbc) if you can find them and use clear tubing to visualize the bubbles. I would also use flare nut wrench (11 mm tbc) for the brake lines. Joe

Brakes aren't perfect, the pedal is a bit mushy and doesn't "inspire confidence" when you really get on them. Otherwise the car is very special

What did it cost in labor & parts to convert to PCCB's?

What the pricing on that setup?
