Agreed! In my mind the only car that would be a replacement to the Spyder would be a F355 Convertible. But the upkeep and hassle of finding a good mechanic plus ongoing cost of ownership would make it a tough pill to swallow. The 997 GT3 would be the next logical choice but it's a coupe and really only the RS excites me. RS prices are more than double a Spyder, I'm not sure it's double the car and somewhat moot since it's not in my budget.
Beside that, I love everything about the Spyder and can't think of a reason why I would want to sell it.

Between my brother and I, we have owned 60+ Ferraris and a handful of Porsches. The ONLY Ferrari I regretted selling was a yellow 360 CS. The Boxster Spyder is a car I never plan on selling. Rarely does a car come along that is affordable, does everything right, and is produced in low numbers. I don't know if Porsche knew what they were doing when they designed the Spyder or if they designed a great car by accident? The Spyder is a keeper.
