Default Spyder needs new brakes...

Just wanted to check in with any of you that have had to replace the rotors and pads. I am assuming that is all that is needed correct? Do I need new sensors? Assuming I can reuse the old ones. Just wanted to make sure I have everything needed to order.

You're supposed to replace the sensors as well as the caliper bolts each time they are removed. That being said, if the sensors don't break during the swap over, they can be re-used. I also reused my caliper bolts.

Cayman R here. I get 2 sets of pads out of a set of rotors. Have you checked the thickness of the rotors? I usually wreck the sensors trying to get them out, just clumsy I guess. I zip tied them out of way on my Boxster and gonna do the same on the R next time I change pads. I watch them pretty close at the track so don't really need the sensors.

I've never been able to get the sensors out of a P-car without breaking them, plus they are cheap.

Yes, basically pads, rotors, screws (to hold the rotor). Porsche recommends replacing the metal clip and bolt on the rotors, but I usually reuse them.

I'm currently at 32k miles and probably need to replace the rotors (definitely need new pads, this will be my third set).

Anyone know what the min rotor thickness is???

Anyway, ECS has 1 click ordering for everything you need.
