My ABM Sypder is here
Well after a long internal debate as to what I wanted to replace my 6GT3 with I am certain I made the right decision, a Spyder.
Many thanks to those that have posted their thoughts and experiences since its announcement.
Oh, and those who said it in other posts, yes I agree - ABM rocks.
Anyway enough of my blathering. Here it is....

Thanks guys. I was a little hesitant about the blue but seeing it person changed that in a hurry. The blue is perfect in an overcast Seattle sky.
Ortho Joe - yes I will do a comparison to my old 6GT3. I'm keeping the Spyder for a surprise showing at the next AX in late July. With a little luck the guy who bought my 6 shows up for a fresh comparison.
One thing I do know now for sure is that for me I strongly prefer a non-PASM car for the feel of the road.

I couldn't agree more with your PASM comment.

Congrats, very nice looking Spyder.
Looking forward to getting your impressions as others have noted. I know many that have GT3's and switched or have both so your scenario isn't unusual.

Congrats. The only thing I miss from my 997.1 GT3 vs Boxster Spyder is the exhaust note and high redline. My car did not have the sport exhaust option, so I added a Fabspeed exhaust and it helped quite a bit.
