Good job, Ben!

Idiots.

For some reason I've had the most trouble with Cayman Ss. One chick (euphemism) at SP and an oblivious idiot at Pocono. Coincidentally they were both silver CSs (different cars and drivers). The clueless one at Pocono even had an instructor sitting next to him. Hello?!? One of your jobs as an instructor is to pay attention to what the hell is behind you!! Obviously my hand waving in disgust didn't get their attention. Fail.

Do it, Joe. Do it, and post a link back here. We'll raise hell.

Congratulations guys. Ben, awesome job.

Definitely post on the GT3 forum. You'll get some (but fewer, I suspect) of the comments you expect, but you'll also wake some people up to what a well driven 987 can do... it will probably make it easier to get the wave by, next time.

OK. You guys convinced me. LOL. I'm still editing all the video. I need to find an.... interesting way to present it.

-2.4 front, -2.2 back. I don't know if this is still the case. It's been 10 months since my last alignment.

Not real soon, and probably not for the CR... though I did like that Numeric shifter.

Some great driving Ben!

A few months ago, I had a guy in a 996 GT3 ask me if I put a turbo in the car. He couldn't believe I passed him otherwise. No respect for the 987.

If there's one thing that I don't like about this sport, it's the big heads/egos. Jay Leno had a great line I heard once where he said:

"Driving fast is like sex. Everyone thinks they're good at it."
I just don't get why people refuse to accept that there drivers out who are better than them.

Thanks for the PDC offer but I have appointments this Friday.

Tried to get into Sat and Sun a little while ago but it was sold out. Maybe this is for the better. The last time I felt good about my lap times, you and Chromium 24 humbled me at the very next outing.

I don't think I have a 1:58 in me but looking forward to being out there with you guys again. Hopefully soon.

For those of you unfamiliar with thunderhill, you probably don't fully appreciate how awesome ben's lap time is.

To put it in perspective, GT3s on hoosiers with very good, seasoned drivers have a very difficult time breaking 2:00. A tiny few can. Even when they do, it's with a massive power advantage over Ben.

Still in awe...
