My Spyder for sale, bittersweet.
Just a PSA here, but I traded in my Spyder last week for a 2013 Audi S6. We are expecting our first child in a few weeks and wanted to have something that the whole family could enjoy together. Also took a new job in Texas which has me carting around clients more.
Anyway... I will make it back to the Porsche crest soon, but likely it will be a 911. Maybe I'll hold out for the 991 GT3.
Here's a link to the listing at the local Audi dealer. Hopefully a rennlister ends up with it! It's appropriately optioned Guards Red, 6MT, Sport Buckets, Xenons, 13K miles (Apr 2011 build).

Congratulations on your child! S6 is a sweet ride, post some pictures when you get a chance.
I don't think that Spyder will last long at that price, guaranteed it's gone within two weeks. What options does it have exactly?

Just 6MT, Sport buckets, Xenons, roll hoops and dials are red as well. CD and AC. That's about it.
Here's pics of the new "daddy mobile". It's been a great car, love all the electronic doodads.

beautiful new car. Love the color.
The S6 is the best looking car in the audi line-up IMO. Even better looking than the S7 that everybody seems to drool over. Dare I say even better looking even than the pre-facelift R8.

Totally agree. When compared to the A6 the A7 looks great. But for some reason it doesn't carry over to the S7. Almost looks like the S6 gets a huge bump in styling from the A6, but not with the S7.

I always think if you go for a S6 it need to be the avant, it's sort of is cool in a starnge way.

There are rumors that the RS4 (currently only in Avant form) will make it over here this time; an Audi exec showed up with one at a Cars and Coffee event in Michigan recently.
I have my fingers crossed...

Don't you like the RS5 which is already over here or don't like coupes?

It would be a replacement for the 'practical' car of the family - currently an X5d - which is a bit too big for my liking.
If I were in the market for a coupe, I would splurge on a C63 BS or wait for the BMW 4-series. Although the RS5 looks good and makes great noises, chunky and AWD doesn't work well for me in a coupe. But it would make for an awesome wagon...
