Default Modified Spyder

Last month I finally finished modifying my car. The modifications include:
red seat inserts
red gear shift trim
red dash trim strip
alcantara center console
wider side intakes painted black and meteor gray
meteor gray exterior mirrors
led lights for the interior and rear plate
Champion RS98 wheels with black bolts
front grill screens

For the interior, basically wanted to get some red to break up the monotony of black. This forum really helped me out on the install for many of the parts. I'd like to thank Aldo from Suncoast, Eric Sklut from bumperplugs and Peter Rodgers for helping me source these parts. All of these guys were great to do business with. Eric Sklut in particular really went out of his way to help me out. The car is in desperate need of a wash, but here are a few photos.

Looks nice! That alcantara parking brake lever and center console lid are so tempting... must resist...

Very nice Jon! I love the shifter trim in red and the alcantara center console. Where did you get the latter and what was the approx. cost? Both together look terrific!

I have contemplated adding the alcantara console as well as the lower dash...

Very nice changes, the interior looks much more inviting with the alcantara center console and e-brake handle. I like the additional red too.

The one thing about having a black exterior is that the matching interior trim doesn't stand out unless you have beige or red interior. I'm also trying to find ways to brighten the interior but haven't decided yet what I want to do.

Can you take a closer picture of the intake, it's hard to tell how it looks from that shot.

I completely agree. I originally wanted a red interior, but I found out too late that it could be ordered with black carpets or I would have gone that way. I've attached two additional photos of the intakes. The hardest part of the entire project for me was removing the passenger side intake.

Thank you. As mentioned by only1buck, I bought the console from Suncoast. It was expensive, but it matches the other alcantara pieces I ordered with the car.

Well that answered my next question about the intakes

They look great, very fitting for the Spyder.

Next step would be to have the two front intakes and the sticker made to match the mirrors and side intakes.

The intakes were sourced from Peter Rodgers on planet-9. He had them custom painted at a local shop in Washington state. Eric supplied the painted interior pieces.

Very nice. That's the first time I've seen the alcantara center console.

Very nicely done. Congratulations!

That is so not riced. Tastefully done. What color are the wheels? The fronts look grayish, probably just the lighting.
