My New Spyder
So, after a short search I was able to find my ideal spyder. I have always loved these since they came out, had to get one after I saw a white hotwheels version at target a few weeks ago. For me it had to be white and have a 6 speed manual. I found a perfect example with only 700 miles, was a dealership GM demo car that just was put in service last month. Best of all I was able to get it for under $60k, car had a factory sticker of $71k. It just showed up last night, so I have put on only 40 miles so far. Top is much easier than expected, looks great up or down. Did not think I would like the black non-spyder wheels but they actually go well with the car. So for now I will leave it stock except I need to find clear corners and remove the BOXSTER on the rear. This is actually my second boxster, I had a 2002 speed yellow 10 years ago and had a blast the 39 months I leased it for. Here is a link to some pics:

Congrats on the Spyder!
I agree, I think many made a big deal about the top. Yeah it's not as convenient as the motorized version but the trade off is absolutely worth it.
So the 993 is on my list of cars to own at some point in the future (probably years from now) and I would love to get your opinion on how it compares to the Spyder. I know it's apples and oranges but I'm curious on the driving characteristics, capabilities and overall experience.
Nice collection of cars and garage! Would love to get your impressions on the 1M too.
Enjoy in Good Health

Congrats - and congrats on the 1M, too - they seem to be even harder to come by. Please post impressions of both once you have some miles on the Spyder.
