18" track wheel for my spyder: which one?
#48
Pulled the trigger. Volk TE37s have been ordered with NT01 tires mounted on them. I found a fantastic deal, which made the choice a no-brainer. Forged, lightweight, and direct Porsche fitment.
18x8.5 +40 weigh 16lb
18x10.5 +50 weigh 19lb.
If anyone is interested in getting a set for a great price (less than CCW), PM me.

Bumping this thread as someone at auto-x mentioned the 18" OZ Alleggerita HLT will clear the PCCBs. I called a different rep at Tire Rack and am now being told that they will fit.
Anyone else hearing something on this one way or another?

If they don't Tire Rack will take them back pretty unconditionally ( as long as they're not used ). At least that's what Damon has told me.

The track wheels have arrived! A few things:
1) TE37s will clear PCCBS, no problem!
2) I sourced my TPMS sensors from OE Wheel for $172 for the SET, vs OEM ~$100 EACH. They work perfectly, no fuss, just let the computer learn the new sensors after driving for a minute.
Here are a few pictures I took. This won't be the 'final' look because I have a different set of decals coming in, which I think will look better. I'll take more pictures once those come in.
Meaty NT01s:
PS2s (Thanks, Steve!) on bottom look so wimpy next to NT01s:
Tires already mounted so I can't weigh the wheels:
