Years ago I saw few Guards Red 3.2 Carreras with Guards Red wheels and they looked ok. However, I'd rather have the standard black wheels on that car.

I'm not a fan of the red either, it's too much red due to the wheel diameter. If it were me and I wanted to differentiate the car I would consider a glossy titanium grey paint.

I'm still undecided about new wheels for my Spyder as well. I thought about red(white Sypder) but it's just too racer-boy looking. I like the OEM wheel in black possibly with red lug bolts to contrast a little. Any thoughts?

If I were to color my spyder (white as well) wheels, I would consider doing it in hyper black like this wheel:

Just a quick fix to your pic. Looks better in the matching red and with a silver lip... IMHO. I rather like it. If you like it do it! Black with silver lip looks great too.

I like the hyper colors. Hyper black or hyper silver. I think the 981 S wheels are hyper silver

Here's an idea: Guards Red with... Matte Bronze wheels

Unfortunately, I can't find any tastefully modded cars to show you. Everything i found was rice.

But here's where I got the idea from. MV Agusta

LOL at all the Evo references pictured in a Porsche thread. (those hyper black wheels I posted are for an Evo X, and the red Evo with matte grey wheels is mine)

So! I was looking for TRD beadlock wheels for my new Tacoma and came across this website. They had a lot of refurbished Porsche wheels. Take notice of the red GT3 wheels they have.

That's exactly the color I was talking about, perfect for red.

Might be cool to respray the front and side intakes in the same color and have a new porsche logo made for the sides in the same color.
