Thoughts on this Spyder I'm considering....
What do you guys think of the following Spyder....
My one gripe is not full leather....but it is a manual which I am looking to switch to, it's a 2011, and the dealer is willing to discount pretty nicely.

I will offer my biased opinion. If I were looking for a replacement Spyder I would want the Spyder Wheels, Sport Buckets and MT. I know you use your Spyder as a DD so I can definitely understand the preference for the Sports Seats.
The color isn't as much of an issue, I have yet to see a Spyder that doesn't look fantastic in person in any color.

I too would prefer the spyder wheels.
On a side note, what porsche charges for wheel painting is highway robbery.
If the dealer is willing to work with you, go for it.
I miss rowing my own too.

Personally, I prefer full leather only in a coupe. In a convertible, the non-leather plastic stuff seems like it will handle the weather and sun exposure better. Plus, leather adds weight.
As others have mentioned, the two big drawbacks for many are the wheels (the Spyder wheels are lighter) and the seats (sport buckets are lighter, more supportive, and can be easily sold if desired). Sport buckets will cost around $6k to add later if desired! Also, the sport seats should be a no-cost option, not sure why they are listed at $2385.
Then of course there is all the extra $$ spent on painting seatbacks, roll bar and wheels. Those options will be worth almost nothing at resale.
Not one for me, but I already have mine!
Good luck with your decision.
