Default The Wait Begins....Spyder Ordered!

On Friday I placed a deposit on a Spyder which is scheduled to be built in March for April Delivery.

My Build Includes

Basalt Black
Black Full Leather Interior
Sport Buckets
Crest on Seats
Colored Crest on Wheel Center Caps
A/C
Cup Holders
CD/Bluetooth
Sport Exhaust

Fortunately the weather has been absolutely crappy so the wait won't be too excruciating but I know the minute the weather warms up I'm going to be itching for the car.

I also wanted to thank Only1Buck who personally connected me with the dealer, I really appreciate your help and if I can return the favor let me know.

Congrats! Sounds like a great way to spec the car. Basalt black is an amazing color! I look forward to seeing it in the spring.

Best regards,
Dino

Afshin, basalt is such a great color. Congratulations and nice specs. You've got a fun summer coming up!

Thanks guys....I was trying to achieve a blend of sportiness combined with some luxury without really adding to much of the weight back.

This is a dream car for me and my first convertible. A true no nonsense sports car with exceptional handling and beautiful lines.

I'll post pictures when I get her.

Great spec! Has the necessities and not much more. Basalt Black would be the black I'd pick - the metallic sheen shows off the curves very well (just like silver does).

You're going to love it. I took mine with PDK and added xenons - which is a waste since I never use them - other wise it's the same spec...
Nice spring coming up for you!

Afshin - how about Alcantara? I think the Full Leather Spyders with the Alcantara door panels look very classy.

Although I like the look of Alcantara I couldn't justify spending extra for it. The Full Leather was the extent of my splurging on non essential items.

I really wanted an more upscale feel for the interior and I felt that the leather on the center console, part of the dash and the doors really completed the look of the car. It also smells amazing although I imagine the smell will wear off quickly being a convertible.

I can't wait to get the car, it's going to be a long 10 weeks.

Good choice on the Sport Exhaust Option, the sound is sweet, can't imagine my Spyder without it.
