Default Spyder, Which Color Combo???

So I'm debating which color combo Spyder to buy, what do you guys think. Here are the options in order of what I'm leaning towards:

1. Black / Black with Full Leather

2. Black / Sand Beige with Full Leather

3. Aqua Blue / Sand Beige with Full Leather

I'm not sure if the Aqua Blue is available as its not showing on the color options anymore but it does show up on the online configurator.

IMHO, the non-black interiors don't look good because the black sections (vents, switches, switch panels, etc) dispersed in the midst of the non-black background. On the 997, the black sections are grouped together and the design is more coherent. have you seen a Spyder with the Sand Beige interior with Sport Buckets (which I think you are going for)?

White, Black full leather, Black wheels. Clearly the best color combination!

of what is on your list I would go with Black/Black....did you get confirmation that one of your dealers in your area has a build slot?

Black/black. As you are well aware from having a car with a linen color interior, dark colors are much easier to care for.

I test drove Boxster S with sand beige interior when I was looking at buying a one. I wasn't crazy about the sand color in pictures but after driving it I liked the color even less.

Good luck and best regards,
Dino

So I'll be honest, I have never seen the sand beige in person and I don't know how it will look but it seems the consensus is that it's not a great color and probably won't blend well with the dark inserts on the seats.

I've been debating about the white as well. It definitely does look nice on the Spyder (rare for me to like white) and it really does look good with black interior and the red highlights on the calipers and seat belts. My wife also prefers the white.

I like the black because I'm a detailing nut and I've always thought that when black is properly cared for it is a stunning color to look at. If done right it can look like a pool of oil. I guess it presents a challenge for me to keep it looking its best so I'll not only be challenged to learn how to properly drive it but I will also be challenged to keep it looking its best.

White or Black.......Hmmm

It is true that the sand beige will be harder to keep clean. I am not sure on the blue/beige combo. I like blue/black but that isn't one of your choices.

I saw that same color combo in a Louisiana Dealership and it definitely is eye catching. The dealer wasn't willing to negotiate the price much and I know it sold about 3 months ago. Is it the same car or was this at another dealer? Any other shots of the outside?

I have a black/black Boxster. Driving with the top down on hot days can be brutal. Keep that in mind. I also have a white/grey combination and driving in the same condition is not bad.
