Hi All. I recently purchased a 987 Spyder and wanted to say hello and share some pics. Thank you all for the wealth of info that has been posted in this forum. I have already learned so much from the forum during these first couple of weeks with the car. I have been looking for something like this for a while and when I saw this one posted, I was immediately interested, Some of you may remember it from the classifieds. The car was a great spec, with a fully documented history, and the past two owners were Renlisters. Low mileage and a great PPI sealed the deal and I had the car shipped from CA to NC. Upon arrival, I couldn't be happier with the condition or the driving experience. It has exceeded all of my expectations.

They are great cars, enjoy it in good health. I really like the paint or powder coat color on the wheels. If you’re able to share color info on those, please do so. Cheers Steve

Thank you! I know the previous owner had the wheels painted, but I wasn't able to get any additional info. That is probably the only thing done to the car that I don't have a receipt for unfortunately.Originally Posted by xpensivewino

Is that the Spyder from SD? If yes you scored a really nice example!
Congrats on the Spyder and welcome to the fold. They’re amazing drivers cars!

Goes to show that the good ones sell quickly under the radar, what we see in auctions aren’t always the best examples which can be misleading when trying to establish value.

I believe this is correct. This was as much of a "buy the seller" situation as anything else. Originally Posted by Spyder_2011
