Default 2012 Spyder for Sale - Australia

This is another one know i will regret..... Amazing to drive but i have 2 more projects underway and will not have the room.

Its a shame - but it just doesn't get driven enough. Deserves to go to someone that doesn't have too many drivers.
I am on the fence - between this and the 997 TT - but at the moment the TT is staying , well, because boost.

A classic already and a lot of drivers car for the $$$, especially given the prices of some of the A/C stuff.......😎

Minty 987.2 Spyder for sale - One of only a few (3) in this spec. Black + PDK + SC + Carbon Buckets.

My information is that either 23 or 27 of these were imported into AU.

This is probably the only one still under Porsche Factory Warranty - and is extendable until 2025. Late November 2011 Delivery Date

30,3xx Klms.

No Stories. No Damage. No accidents.

Full Porsche History.

Has front PPF and some tasty painted bits inside.

OEM Alcantara Sport PDK wheel recently fitted.

New Windscreen recently fitted (by PCP) due to my ham-fisted attempt to install an effing etag.

Stupidly fastidious Owner.

Engaging, fast backroad driver - will give a lot of "faster" cars a scare on the twisties. Sounds the biz too.

I am getting new tyres fitted to the stock wheels (when they come in - as have Date coded out) and may be attending the Autohaus C&C on Sunday if anyone wants a look + see.

BC forged wheels available as an option.

If you know, you know.

$159K AU

Simon.

Beautiful Spyder.

Unrelated to your sale, would you happen to have any other info on RoW build numbers? Your’s is the first I’ve personally seen that gives a number for how many non-US/Canadian cars are floating around in other parts of the world. I don’t understand why we have so much info for how many US/Canadian Spyders were built but basically zero info for RoW.

Cheers and best of luck with the sale.

I would guess that the RHD cohort of the RoW production of the Spyder must be tiny in number. Talk about a rare Spyder variant!

@islaTurbine - Sorry I have no info about RoW stuff - other than somewhere in my notes is the total UK count for 993Turbo S.... I have conflicting info - a PCA employee told me 23 - but I alway had 27 in my mind when i fell in love with them in 2011 - (but was mid divorce - no chance of a new car) Someone here tailed me that there was only a few (3 or 4) delivered in NZ. Only leave Japan, SA and the UK for the rest.....IIRC there was 1199 worldwide.

@Only1Buck - Thanks - being a wheel wh0re i really like the way it looks - but - the stock wheels are a good bit of gear too.

Have to agree that those BC wheels look great - similar enough to the OE wheels in design not to be overbearing. Would you mind sharing the specs on them Simon?

GLWS - this spyder must be a Roo with a horn sprouting out of its head downunda....!

@Nurburger These are: F = 19 x 8.5 +50. R = 19 x 10 +38 - However I have added a 10mm Spacer to the rears (effectively making them a +28 rear offset)

I think it just fills out the humps a little better - and no rubbing issues with sticking out too far etc.

So.....

I went for a drive to bed the new brakes - and 300klms and a few hours later - she's staying.
Just such a great drivers car. Sure - not as fast as my TT but no less awesome to drive.

And those humps......
