Wowwww .. I saw it too. What is weird is that our resident expert Marine Blue's posts commenting on the double digit paint meter reading also disappeared and then reappeared. Someone must have called them out.

The current high bidder “rtc113” previously bid $55K on a 6K mile Spyder on BaT in July 2017. That Spyder sold for $62K. Hmm - prices have risen a bit since then. A cute feature of BaT is that you can search on a username (or just click on the username in a comment or bid header) to get that person’s full BaT history. Sometimes I just do a search on myself to nostalgically relive the comments and photos on my two previous BaT auctions.

Default The $111,111 Spyder

Sold at a sleek $111,111 + $5K capped fee. Does that mean that a nice Spyder in the low $50s is a thing of the past?

There is now a black/red one for sale. I will double check my records but I believe I looked at and drove the car last year when it was for sale in Ocean City NJ

Wow. Perhaps my manual, LWB Spyder with 8600 miles has become too valuable to drive even if not quite worth $111,111.

It was more than I wanted to spend by about 5k, not too worried about the paint meter readings, and I put miles on cars (2700 miles on my speedster alone over the last year). Was basically looking for a really nice example and this was it.

Check the over revs. Lots of rumblings going on about a shady seller on this one.

Default Next Spyder Up

And…..here’s the next Spyder that BaT had queued up:
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...ter-spyder-52/

This one is Black with a Red interior, 6-speed, and sofa chairs. I luv my sofa chairs, and even SWMBO approves of them after we just came back from two solid days of chasing other PCars in the mountains of NC.
