Yeah for some reason that list doesn't break down the cars by LWBs and sofas.

I think the build sheets are simply being misinterpreted. These cars had LWBs as standard so I would expect that a build code would be present if the car was optioned with sofas. Maybe someone here with a sofa car can chime to confirm?

At least as far as the Aqua Blue Metallic Spyders go (for whom I have all the Build Sheets), if the "Additional Equipment" section of the Build Sheet does NOT call out "P77 Sport Seats in Leather", then that car came with the LWBs, which were not called out since they were Standard, not Additional. So the presence of LWBs can only be inferred by omission. One clue to the presence of the standard LWBs is in the "Interior" description in the top header of the Build Sheet, where the magic word Alcantara appears, since the LWB centers consisted of Alcantara. It looks like if the order did not specify P77, the car came with LWBs - no third choice, at least amongst the ABMs. I am only referring to the Build Sheets.

Here’s the actual build sheet as supplied by Porsche when a car is ordered. It’s interesting that there are some items that aren’t options listed but LWB are not.

It appears that LWBS were not an option (maybe this has been stated before), but the default seat supplied. All the pictures in the PDF brochure feature the LWBS and then on page 19 we have this - the Sport Seat shown (as an option?).

It is amazing how different markets had different ways of describing the exact same info in differing detail. Perhaps Porsche had a special Dept. of International Obfuscation. John McM's NZ build sheet has nailed a full description of the standard LWBs, “code 11” - first time I have seen such a full breakdown of the LWB constituents. Also this supports “code 21” being the standard LWBs with the full leather interior option in Spyder_2011’s build sheet (11+10=21, just bring an extra $3655). Never has so much been written about something one just places one’s butt upon.
