Yes - interesting numbers starting to show. And a BIG congrats to the new owner - you've picked up such a GREAT Spyder. One of four PTS in the USA? How rare is that AND I am a big fan of the Speed Yellow. Again congrats and I'm with Afshin - who listens to the radio in these? I'm considering yanking mine and free up some storage space that for me is more of an issue in the Gen 1 Spyders.

No radio would be ok , but when im out in my Spyder im in such a good mood that sometimes i want to listen to some of my favourite music so im glad mine came with CD. Also air-con is proving useful so i guess im not a full purist but enjoying the optionality !
Congrats to the 2 new owners . Now if we all got our partners to buy a Spyder as well ..

Well bought IMHO considering it’s one of 4 PTS 987 Spyders. Not having the radio may have been a drawback to some but truly when you drive this car your focus will be on the engine/exhaust music, not what would be playing on the radio.
Hopefully the buyer will chime in.
Congrats on the sale jvmax.

2012 Silver/Black w/AC Delete and 15K Miles - MT
Here's another nice one on the block, this one in Silver/Black, manual, 15K miles, AC delete, sport buckets, short-shift, and sound.

Silver one looks really nice. A/C delete isn’t for everyone but it’s probably the purest driving experience. Bummer it doesn’t have PSE but at least that’s easy enough to add.

I noticed this while scrolling through the pics of the car:
Perhaps it's old news, but I've never seen this before.
Now pouring through my owner's manual to see if the 981 Spyder speedo can also be configured to display your name.
UPDATE: Nope, it doesn't appear doable on the 981 Spyder.
Chalk this up as a tiny cool feature unique to the 987 Spyder (and all other 987 models I'm guessing).
